And then he turned ONE!

Things we will never forget about Parker this year:

The feeling we had when we left the hospital (Mommy crying all the way home).
All the wonderful people who brought gifts and food those first two weeks.
Nursing (the good, the bad, and the teeth).
His first gummy smile.
His first two teeth (the bottom ones at exactly 6 months).
His first Halloween as a Baby Carrot.
Putting him in a carved pumpkin.
His first laugh.
The way he giggles when Daddy throws him in the air.
His ticklish spots (FEET, upper thighs, belly, chest, collarbone, and butt).
The first and most popular 'trick' he learned..."This is my house".
How thrilled he gets when he learns a new 'trick'.
Squealing when we chase him or when he chases us.
Squealing when he thinks that the cats will chase him (they just look at him).
The way he snuggles in the morning.
The way he gets so excited when Daddy comes home in the evening.
His first taste of cereal.
Taking baths in his Tummy Tub.
Taking baths camping (he always chooses that time to poop)!
Camping with him in the tent when he ate his first banana.
Rolling over.
The way he devours a banana or a bowl of watermelon.
When he first said "Dada".
Sitting up.
Crawling.
Visiting Rogovich's in Boston.
Pulling up to a stand.
Skyping/Facetiming Daddy in Canada/Germany (his face sure does light up)!
Crusing on the furniture and now on the walls.
Library class with all our old and new friends.
Underage Reading!!!
How all day he says over and over again: "Dada, Dada, Dada"!
The way he repeats: "No, No, No" (THANKS A LOT MAW-MAW!!!).
Family dinners out.
Family dinners in.
Our trip to Canada to visit Daddy!
Parker's cheesy smile!
When he first said "Mama"...so much later than "Dada".
Taking baths in his Ducky.
Taking baths in his Big Boy Bathtub.
Getting a Big Boy Carseat (and seeing how gross his old carseat had become)!
How tough he is every time he bumps his head or falls down.
How Mommy can just hold him and he will stop crying.

It is going too fast...
